Navicrew is recruiting Marine Cargo & Bunker Surveyor

SHORT DESCRIPTION

Perform inspection survey at any of the Oil terminals, including vessels in port and at anchorages (In Port & Offshore), effectively and efficiently at any time in accordance to clients' requirements.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  Understand clear and specific instructions received from Senior Operations Executive and carry them out in accordance to client's requirements.

  Conduct bunker quantity survey including measurements, sampling, tank inspection, cargo quantity calculation and monitoring of events throughout the entire operation in accordance with documented Management System and HSE requirements.

  Timely reporting update and field reports to Senior Operations Executive, head office and eventually to clients.

  Conducting inspections to determine the condition of cargo

  Surveying damaged cargo 

  Investigating accidents involving cargo

  Report writing

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  Candidate must possess at least a Diploma related to Marine Industry.

  Candidates should have relevant experience (min 3 to 4 yrs) in Bunker quantity surveying.

  Good Communication skills (fluent in English language & writing)

  Willing to work irregular hours (rest periods provided)
