Job Summary

A AB Seaman in the Maritime Industry is responsible for assisting with the operation and maintenance of a vessel, including deck maintenance, cargo handling, and navigational duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the deck area
• Stand watch and assist with navigation as needed
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the vessel

Qualifications

• Valid AB Seaman certification
• Prior experience working on a commercial vessel
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift heavy objects and work in inclement weather conditions
• Good physical fitness and stamina
• Able to stand for long periods of time
