Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join our team in the maritime industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating ships, machinery, and equipment to ensure the safety of crew and passengers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Chief Engineer to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment, machinery, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with all maritime laws, regulations, and policies.
• Monitor and maintain fuel system operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all ship systems and equipment.
• Provide assistance to the Chief Engineer as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Maritime Engineering Officer's Certificate of Competency.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of marine engineering and navigation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must have excellent physical stamina.
